Stunning neon-orange fluorescence on this exotic and fantastic rocketship-shaped calcite from Irai. The striking satin lustre, glassy translucent calcite resembles a rocket ship from the 1930s serial and movie Flash Gordon with the multiple exhausts and attached rocket pod. The calcite is beautifully set on the thin basalt matrix covered with tiny calcites. Essentially pristine, you can barely tell there is a gentle cleave to the ships nose.
