Item Description
Sharp calcite crystals are rare from this noted New York locale, famed for gorgeous, water-clear, blue fluorite cubes. A 4.2 cm, doubly terminated, glassy, amber scalenohedron is dramatically set on matrix. The translucent crystal even has a phantom at the tip. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear on the lower right side. Exceptional and uncommon calcite from the George Feist Collection # 477.
