Item Description
A 6.5 cm, glassy, highy lustrous, translucent, doubly terminated, calcite crystal is jauntily set on the edge of a bed of lustrous and translucent, rubyjack sphalerite crystals on this classic combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The calcite crystal is two-toned with a colorless/whitish center and gemmier, pretty light amber terminations. The primary termination has trivial edgewear, while the lightly cleaved lower termination is a very modest detraction in the best presentation mode. Highly representative material from this noted locale from the Consie Prince Collection.
