Item Description
A pristine, gemmy and lustrous, 5.0 cm, doubly terminated calcite crystal is exquisitely placed on the mounded matrix of lightly coated and corroded, galena octahedrons on this classic old-timer from the famous Joplin Field. There are a bunch of marcasite balls to 5-6 mm on one side of the piece. Overall this excellent piece is in great shape, and the cleaved smaller calcite is a very modest detraction. Choice material from this historic locale from the George Feist Collection.
