DT Calcite on Fluorite (Ross Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

A striking 5.3 cm, doubly terminated, gemmy and lustrous, light amber complex calcite rhomb is very aesthetically perched by the corner of a very dark purple fluorite cleavage cube, that is totally covered with an earlier generation of water-clear, gem, colorless calcite rhombs, to about 9 mm. The calcite is pristine and this very fine 360-degree combination has multiple display possibilities. Classic and excellent multi-generational calcite combination material from the Ross Lillie Collection # 0315. Collected in April,1993 by Wendell Smith.
