DT Calcite on Dolomite (Urish Coll.)

Item Description

A 3.2 cm, doubly terminated, lustrous, partially gemmy, amber, calcite crystal elegantly perched on pyrite matrix covered with sharp, lustrous, pinkish-tan, cobaltoan dolomite rhombs. The mine is above the Arctic Circle and has been closed since 2002. Nearly pristine, the calcite has trivial edge wear and rubbing.
