Item Description

A fabulous, doubly terminated, very broad, compound calcite crystal with multiple gorgeous, gemmy, golden-amber terminations is dramatically set upright on the rubyjack sphalerite matrix and supremely complimented by the ball of ivory-colored barite blades. This is a classic large combination piece from the famous Elmwood Mine. Overall the piece is in very good shape. The broad termination on the calcite is gently bruised, as is the adjacent tip. Periphery wear is noted on the end and one side of the barite ball. This remains an impressive and aesthetic combination from this renowned locale. Older material. Ex Consie Prince Collection. This would be $3000-5000, if pristine. Valued at $600-800.
