Item Description

A very fine, paper thin, doubly terminated, lightly coated chocolate-brown brookite crystal with glorious, gemmy clove-brown colored edges from this well-known Russian mine, famous for axinite, quartz and titanite specimens. A fine thumbnail crystal, comparable to pieces from Pakistan or the Alps. Nearly pristine, with only very slight edge wear at the base. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
