Item Description

An exceptionally sculptural and uncommonly formed doubly terminated, bi-colored, floater tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. The two terminations couldn' be any more different on this striking and pristine crystal! The pinacoid termination has a beautiful, 2 mm apple-green zone below the lustrous, matte-finish termination face. A 2.2 cm, glorious, gemmy "Himalaya pink" section follows. The gemmy, layered, variable olive-green zone terminates at the amazingly steep and gemmy rose-pink lower termination. The lustrous, frosted face has striking deep crevasses! Cleavelandite blades and a tiny pink rubellite are super accents to the side of this outstanding bi-colored tourmaline dating to the 1970s or 80s finds. 65 grams mass. Valued at $2250-2500 and well worth it.
