Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy, lustrous, bi-colored, doubly terminated tourmaline from Pech, Afghanistan. The pretty pink, complex, pyramidal termination lies above a very pleasing apple-green body to the basal termination with a pink core on this water-clear gem crystal. Thus, this is a watermelon tourmaline. A vey fine and nearly pristine bi-colored tourmaline from this locale, with only super-trivial, barely noticeable edgewear and a bit of embedded feldspar. 12 grams. Valued at $700-900, as this is a fine doubly terminated crystal. Far fewer of these are available today with the ongoing war.
