Item Description
Greenish beryl crystals with this exceptional sharpness and doubly terminated form are RARE from this famous old pegmatite, first worked in the early 1800s for mica (MINDAT). The glassy crystal has some fine gemmy sections, but is mostly translucent with internal crazing. Complete all-around and pristine. A very desirable Ruggles Mine beryl from an East Coast collection. Older material, as it comes with a Hugh Ford label dating from 1946-57. 26 grams mass. A MUST for the species or locality collector! Value?? MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
