Item Description

Barite specimens from this obscure locality are RARE. This is an impressive, large, stout, doubly terminated, barite spearpoint from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The tranlucent, lustrous, honey-brown crystal has mostly frosted faces, except for the striking "skunk" stripe of the central face. Complete all-around. The primary termination has just a bit of bruising, a contact with no damage, per se is noted at the bottom and the modest bit of periphery wear on the lower left are certainly modest detractions to this fine and very rare large barite crystal.
