DT Aquamarine (uncommon locale) ex Obodda

Mineral specimens from this obscure Skardu District locale are rare and are very seldom on the market. This striking doubly terminated floater crystal has an absolutely limpid body with fine light blue color. The complex primary termination is very unusually lightly frosted and etched, yet the pinacoidal face is water-clear with a TV-like view down the C-axis! The lower termination is broken, healed and etched. Very nearly pristine, with only a single trivial spot of side wear. A facinating and beautiful gem aqua from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. 11 grams.
