Item Description

A striking and excellent large combination specimen from this obscure Pakistan locale - Raikot. A 5.4 cm, gemmy and lustrous, fine ice-blue, aquamarine crystal with preferentially frosted prism faces is aesthetically attached to the masssive microcline matrix plate. Tiny pearlescent muscovite plates are festooned on the microcline and niftily preferentially coat one side of the aqua. Hard-to-see, but the very glassy termination is gemmy/transparent. A fine surprise is that a portion of the doubly terminated and pristine aqua pokes out of the bottom of the plate! Choice and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $500, more than five years ago. It is certainly worth more today, say $750-900, for the fine form and rarity.
