Item Description
Fabulous amber color to the striking gem spearpoint terminations on this dramatic and sculptural 360-degree small cabinet specimen from Touissit. The impressive large crystal is doubly terminated. The gem terminations are beautifully glassy and well-striated. Part of the specimen has been pseudomorphed or replaced, adding an exotic character to this fascinating specimen. Originally sold in 1984 as fantastic amber anglesites and highly sought-after, these were later found to have been dipped in bleach to bring out the rich hue. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a couple of hard-to-see broken crystal tips. This remains an extremely fine example of this infamous find.
