Sharp, well-formed, doubly terminated NATURAL ametrine (amethyst and citrine hues combined in a single crystal), from Bolivia are VERY RARE. Nearly all crystals have weird forms as the result from natural etching in the pockets in which they form. This exceptional floater crystal does have etched faces and a modest bit of edgewear/bruising is noted, but certainly not to detraction to this rarity. This one is also partially clear through the interiors, which is also uncommon. Fine crystals are now harder to come by, these days. 108 grams mass. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Value??
