Item Description
Sharp, well-formed, doubly terminated NATURAL ametrine (amethyst and citrine hues combined in a single crystal), from Bolivia are VERY RARE. Nearly all crystals have weird forms as the result from natural etching in the pockets in which they form. This exceptional floater crystal does have some etched faces and a couple of contacts are noted, where other crystals once lay, but there is very little bruising. This one is also absolutely clear through the interiors, which is also rare. One termination has a few small bruises and trivial edge wear is noted, but are certainly extremely modest detraction to this rarity. Fine crystals are now harder to come by, these days. 342 grams mass. Value??
