Item Description

Natural ametrine (amethyst and citrine hues combined in a single crystal) specimens are quite uncommon, worldwide. The best specimens come from this mine in Bolivia. This is a sculptural, rare, doubly terminated, floater crystal with striking rabbit ears shape. The strange forms of these crystals result from natural etching in the pockets in which they form. They are absolutely clear through the interiors, with a silky surface. Some faces are water-clear. The photos highlight the beautiful colors. A few scattered, minimally detracting, small dings are noted on the front. A large cleave on the back is out-of-sight. Choice and rare ametrine, in this doubly terminated form.
