Item Description

An excellent amethyst/smoky quartz specimen from the Pohndorf Mine of Montana and the Richard Hauck Collection. The glassy and lustrous, complexly terminated crystal has rich shades of grape purple, along with the smoky zones. This is a doubly terminated, floater crystal as the base was either a contact or broke, healed and regrew. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. Trivial temination wear is noted and the two contacts on the sides have only trivial bruising. Older, seldom available 360-degree, colorful material. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
