Item Description
Mineral specimens of any species are rare from this obscure Pakistan district. A striking, large, doubly terminated, amethyst scepter with a "tail" is very glassy and is pretty variable light blush-purple to colorless. The two, deep skeletal faces (hard to see) on two termination faces, some stepped-growth termination faces and interior veils add much pizzazz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial termination and side edge wear. An excellent rarity, that reminds me of fine Brandberg, Namibia amethyst scepters. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
