Item Description

A very rare and striking, large old-time specimen from the Little Pipestone District of Montana and the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection. An impressive, doubly terminated compound amethyst scepter with pretty variable blush-purple color, high luster and transparency is attached to a large quartz stalk, that is richly included with tiny schorls. The scepter has dramatic 360-degree visual appeal and is nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of termination bruising to the three tips. EXCEPTIONAL and RARE old-time material. The George English label dates to 1899-1901. A MUST for the species or locality collector. Value???
