Las Vigas amethyst specimens are a Mexican classic and this is an adorable and aesthetic miniature. The impressive large crystal is a doubly terminated scepter with a water-clear gem termination. The secondary amethyst is also doubly terminated and the crystals have pretty blush-purple color. The shard of epidote-covered matrix adds pizzazz to this elegant piece. Essentially pristine, the small tip to the large scepter is very gently bruised and is out-of-sight in the fine display views.
