Amethyst on smoky quartz scepters are extremely rare from this famous South Korea Mine, closed since 1973. A gemmy and lustrous, pretty blush-purple, doubly terminated amethyst rests upon a frosted smoky quartz stalk. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. One face of the scepter is contacted, but has trivial bruising. Tae Wha scheelite was considered among the world's finest, prior to the great and fabulous outpouring from China.
