Matrix amethyst specimens of this quality are uncommon from Goboboseb Mountain and this very fine specimen is from the Charlie Key Collection. Luscious shades of light purple and grape-purple fill the lustrous, transparent to translucent crystals. The doubly terminated crystal is 7.3 cm long and is essentially pristine, with only the most infinitesimal bruising to the lower termination. The short crystal is terminated and pristine. The architecture of the piece is very aesthetic. Exceptional, highly prized matrix material from this noted locale. Valued at $750.
