DT Amazonite w/ Schorl (Madrid Coll.)

Item Description

An impressive, textbook, sharp complete all-around doubly terminated amazonite crystal from the well-known Zapot pegmatite. The moderately lustrous crystal has pretty turquoise-blue color with typical white sections that characterizes the locale. Several faces are preferentially peppered with tiny schorl crytals, a rare accessory that adds color contrast and pizzazz. Nearly pristine, with only a small ding on an end termination. Certainly a most modest detraction to this very fine and uncommon combination from the Madrid Collection.
