Drusy Quartz on Calcite (rare form)

Item Description

A RARE and UNUSUAL style large calcite from Jalgoan. The stout tabular tapered crystal has a striking and distinctive leaf or spearpoint shape and is covered with sparkly drusy quartz. The prism faces on the sides of the termination are very sharp and add form and character to the crystal. The bruises on the side and both ends reveal the calcite as very glassy and essentially water-clear. The clean repair above the bruise on the side is noted, but has minimal impact to the overall surreal quality of this large and strange combination calcite. A MUST for the calcite or locality collector.
