Item Description

An attractive group of Dravite Tourmaline from the lesser-known Landanai locality in Tanzania. The crystals have a distinctive and rare combination of colors ranging from a deep honey-gold color at the base, which transitions into yellow and green shade towards the terminations. The piece is translucent when backlit, which is the best way to see the colors. This particular variations of hue is rarely seen in Tourmaline, and to find a gemmy crystal group is certainly desirable. Overall the piece is in very good condition, and the terminations are undamaged. The piece weighs 12.47 grams.
