Item Description

Dravite specimens are very uncommon from this more obscure region of China and a dravite scepter, exceptionally so! The splendent crystal has a sharp, three-sided, pyramidal termination and ten prism faces! It is jet-black with just touches of brown. The crystal looks like a large bolt with tapered threads. Complete all-around. Mostly out of sight, modest termination edge wear is noted and the base is contacted. A facinating, rare species and very rare form from this locale. Ex Schlichter Collection.
