Item Description
Choice, single crystal of GEMMY Dravite from Landanai, Tanzania. This crystal, a full 6 cm tall, has lustrous and striated prism faces and an attractive color that ranges from a rich clove-brown to nearly colorless. Neither termination is complete, but the stepped growth of the top termination still creates a stately appearance. Recently deaccessed from the Tim Sherburn collection.
