Item Description

Gemmy, highly lustrous, reddish-brown dravite prisms, to about 1.0 cm, solidly compose both sides of this very rich and showy specimen. Dravite, a member of the Tourmaline Group is rare from this well-known large open pit mine. The scattered sharp, colorless magnesite rhombs are a nifty stark contrast. Choice, rich and very uncommon material from the Matioli Collection.
