Shimmering bright lustre, striking sharp spearpoint tips and dense parallel-growth highlight this exceptional two-sided vivianite specimen from this well-known locale. The gray-green color of the plates is nicely accented by the contrasting muscovites on either side. Vivianite is a rare species from Brazil. This extinct granite pegmatite is well-known for producing numerous high quality phosphate specimens from the mid-1990s into the 2000s.
