Item Description

An EXCELLENT, SHOWY vanadinite specimen from the classic, but now hard to obtain source of the San Carlos Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico. This is doubly terminated, highly lustrous, translucent, wet-look, butterscotch-colored, hexagonal vanadinite prism has a HIGHLY UNUSUAL pyramidal termination. The sidecar crystals are a very nifty accent. RARE in this quality and crystal form. These came out in the 1970s and 70s, with none since. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
