Item Description
A 5.5 cm, doubly terminated and twinned, calcite crystal is elegantly attached to a sliver of sparkly, microcrystalline dolomite on this classic specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The very glassy, translucent calcite is a pretty light amber color and has strikingly different terminations for super effect. It looks like a rocket taking off with flames coming out of the engines. The calcite is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only very gentle cleaving to the single termination. This fine piece has excellent aesthetics! Ex Consie Prince Collection.
