Item Description
A cute and very aesthetic calcite specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. A classic, 3.6 cm, gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated and twinned, calcite scalenohedron is elegantly set on the sculptural matix crust densely covered with tiny calcite crystals. The backside is a real bonus, as it is totally covered with sparkly, tiny quartz crystals (quartz being relatively uncommon at Elmwood). The calcite is essentially pristine, having only infinitesimal, barely noticeable bruising. Excellent material from this classic locale. Get a good matrix cutie, while you can. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
