Doubly terminated twinned Calcite (Consie Prince Coll.)

Item Description

A beautiful, gemmy, calcite from Elmwood. The water-clear crystal is doubly terminated and has a well-defined twinning plane on both sides. This cutie has the desirable, gemmier golden-amber terminations. This is an excellent crystal, with only a small bit of attached sphalerite. Both terminations are gently cleaved and a bit of trivial edgewear is noted. This remains a highly representative and beautiful example of the species and famed locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
