Doubly terminated Tremolite (Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

An exceptionally sharp doubly terminated floater tremolite crystal from this Bancroft area locale, noted for well-formed Amphibole Group specimens, such as tremolite and actinolite. This superb sharply terminated, highly lustrous prism is dark green with striking areas of glass-green translucence. The two dramatic and different terminations really add pizzazz to this crystal. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, the one clean repair in the middle has negligible impact to the overall superior quality of this very fine piece from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
