Doubly terminated Smoky Quartz with Aquamarine

Item Description

A rare doubly-terminated smoky quartz crystal from Mt. Antero, Colorado. A floater fully crystallized on all faces, with only very trivial edgewear on both terminations. Most of the crystal is opaque, but the primary termination is translucent. A SUPER bonus is the 1.1 cm, gemmy, pretty blue, aquamarine fragment on one side. The aqua was originally much larger, as the negative impression of the aqua on the smoky is 3.7 cm long.
