Item Description
A striking large variable length scepter highlights this RARE and impressive large doubly terminated floater partially smoky quartz crystal from a Governador Valadares pegmatite. The scepter is 8.8 cm long on one face. The pretty variable light smoky color is concentrated in five of the six faces of the hexagonal crystal. The very glassy and lustrous crystal is quite gemmy, with the interior veils and clay inclusions and fenster faces adding much character. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. You barely notice the small bruise to the tip of the lower termination. Ex Paul Zerfass Collection No. 1194, a well-known French field collector and worldwide collector. Every turn presents a distinctively different perspective to this significant 360-degree Brazilian quartz.
