Doubly terminated Smoky Quartz

CABINET, doubly terminated, smoky quartz crystal clusters of this impressive quality are uncommon from Brandberg. This very glassy, transparent to translucent cluster has beautiful color zoning. The main crystal is very sharply pseudo-hexagonal, has nifty tapered terminations and some of the faces have prominent skeletal or elestial features. The cluster of doubly terminated sidecar crystals really adds character to this striking specimen. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, the trivial edgewear on one of the main terminations, a couple of the sidecar crystals and the very trivial sidewear in one spot on the main crystal are noted, but are certainly not much of a detraction, as you can see. You would be hard pressed to design a more dramatic, large, doubly terminated, Brandberg smoky. Valued at $1250-1500.
