Item Description

A 3.0 cm, douby terminated, scheelite crystal is jauntily perched on matrix on this showy piece from a classic and closed locality. Taewha Mine scheelites were long considered to be the world's finest, until recently. The sharp, translucent, gray-brown, scheelite octahedron has high luster. The side is contacted, but there is little actual damage. A highly representative scheelite from this famous mine. Ghostly white fluorescence.
