A striking, pristine, 5.2 cm, doubly terminated, offset crystal is attached to the side of a stout, terminated, tapered crystal section. The crystals have classic cornflower-blue color, nifty banding and moderate translucence. The bit of attached matrix adds pizzazz to this surreal, rare and excellent sapphire from an East Coast collection. Value?? We feel in the $2000-3000 range is fair for this unique sapphire.
