Doubly terminated Ruby (Wes Parker Coll.)

Item Description

A textbook, hexagonal, tablular, doubly terminated ruby crystal from Mysore, India. The crystal has superb, saturated, pigeons blood-red color. One end is crudely terminated and the other end looks sawed, but in fact, is terminated. This face really highlights the intense color saturation. The contact on the flat termination is very nearly pristine, with only very trivial bruising and the contact on one side of the crystal has no damage, per se. Highly representative of the species and locality. Ex Wes Parker Collection.
