Item Description
A very cute matrix red beryl thumbnail from the Wah Wah Mts. A wonderful 1.4 cm partially doubly terminated crystal is aesthetically attached to the matrix. The crystal has high luster and gorgeous variable violet-red color. The central richer portion is very gemmy and the upper termination is all there. The crystal has no included rhyolite sand. A highly representative thumbnail of the rarest of beryl species. There has been very little recent production from this famous locale. In fact, almost none. And there will never be much more, I would bet. This very fine thumbnail is gemmy, sharp, and has intense color. Valued at $1000-1500.
