Item Description
A wonderful, large, complete all-around and pristine, doubly terminated, red beryl crystal from Utah. The crystal has high luster and gorgeous cranberry-red color. Portions of the crystal are gemmy and portions have embedded rhyolite, including both terminations. The gemmy portion GLOWS when backlit. A striking and highly representative thumbnail of the rarest of beryl species. There has been very little recent production from this famous locale. In fact, almost none. And there will never be much more, I would bet. This fine thumbnail is intense, sharp, complete and aesthetic. 29.64 carats.
