Item Description

Remarkable, rare and pristine 360-degree, doubly terminated floater quartz from an obscure locale in Coahuila State, Mexico. The exotic, very glassy, lustrous, transparent to translucent specimen has surreal parallel-growth clay inclusions and skeletal features, which dramatically enhance the piece. The single termination above the double terminations adds even more character. Every turn presents a decidedly different perspective. This style of skeletal/hoppered quartz with inclusions resembles specimens from Brazil, Brandberg and rarely Oklahoma. A truly fascinating and rare quartz from Mexico. Thanks to Dr. Peter Megaw, well-known Mexico specialist, dealer and collector for pointing out the correct locale for these striking quartz specimens.
