Doubly terminated Quartz included w/ Fluorite

A striking, doubly terminated, CABINET, quartz crystal is included with purple fluorite octahedrons to 4 mm. The lightly frosted, water-clear quartz also has negative impressions, where fluorite crystals were embedded in one crystal face. This very uncommon find from Madagascar a few years ago represented one of the few new sensations at the Tucson Show. A bit of bruising is noted on both terminations, along with a bit of out of sight edgewear on the back. This remains an impressive, large and highly representative example of this rare Madagascar combination. No more have been forthcoming.
