Item Description

Pretty lilac color characterizes this stout, prismatic, sharply terminated, kunzite crystal from Nuristan. This is a doubly terminated, glassy, well-striated floater. The terminations could not be anymore different! The spearpoint termination is lightly frosted, gemmy and has rich lilac color. The other end is jagged, colorless and translucent. A nifty, cloudy, colorless zone runs up the center of the crystal. Pristine. The mass is 277 grams. The C-axis shot really highlights gorgeous, pink color saturation. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine crystal at $750 on his 10 or 20-year older label. MUCH, MUCH BETTER PERSON! The gemminess and glassiness made photography difficult. Classic and impressive beautiful color with fine form for a larger spodumene. It is certainly worth more today and value it at $1000-1500.
