Item Description
A dramatic and excellent, large, doubly terminated spodumene with quartz from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The glassy, transparent to translucent crystal is a light pastel-pink, thus kunzite (better in person). The lower end has a striking, 20-degree break, which is fully rehealed and even has new crystal growth! Jauntily attached to the sides are glassy quartz crystals, several of which, are doubly terminated. The kunzite is nearly pristine, with only very trivial bruising at a contact. All of the quartz crystals are pristine, except one in the lower cluster, which has a broken tip. This is an impressive and showy combination specimen from this locale. Valued by Herb at $1200, five years ago. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
