Item Description

An unusually sculptural, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, pretty light lilac kunzite crystal from a NEW FIND at the less well-known Oceanview Mine from July, 2010. The steep termination and pronounced notch really sets this piece off. The water-clear crystal is beautifully striated and is doubly terminated. Both terminations are pristine. Nearly pristine, the long edge is cleaved, but you can hardly tell. The C-axis shots really show the beautiful pink color. Highly representative and excellent, interestingly formed, gem-quality cutter material from this new find, that is featured in a recent issue or Rocks & Minerals. Good timing! 28 grams.
