Item Description

A gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, pretty lavender kunzite crystal from a NEW FIND at the less well-known Oceanview Mine from July, 2010. The sculptural water-clear crystal is beautifully striated and is doubly terminated. Both terminations are strangely etched, with the pointed termination having a corner cleave. One long face is cleaved, but you barely notice it. The C-axis shot really shows the beautiful pink color. Highly representative and excellent, gem-quality cutter material from this new find, that is featured in the recent issue or Rocks & Minerals. Good timing! 48 grams.
